As I listen to my students complain that their drinking fountain water is "warm" and "nasty," I can't help but think about the people around the world who have to access their drinking water much in the same way as this young child in Ethiopia does. What about those in Flint, Michigan who are dealing with their water being poisoned by lead? Sad day when we our appreciation for the simple things we take for granted no longer exists.
